Mel has an appointment to model in a photo shoot, and her stepbrother, Kurt, insists she doesn’t venture to that side of town alone. Kurt goes with her to serve as her protector. At least until he finds out the male model for the shoot can’t make it. Kurt reluctantly takes his place. Mel and Kurt find out the hard way (no pun intended) the shoot isn’t for a nice, tame commercial but for a Kama Sutra book. Can Mel and Kurt, related although not by blood, fake it for long?
Although not a topic or type of relationship I would normally read, Evangeline Anderson developed intriguing characters in Picture Perfect. Mel, a beautiful woman just modeling to pay her way through college, couldn’t turn down the offer from a well-known photographer. Attracted to Kurt since the day they met, she fought it because of their relationship as step siblings. Kurt, a gorgeous alpha male, protected his step sister although his feelings for her ran much deeper. Mel found his protectiveness endearing.
Picture Perfect the first book I have read by Anderson, and I must say she has a talent for the erotic. She knows how to keep readers on the edge of their seats and get them involved in the dialogue and overall story.
