When we first meet Misty Mortimer she’s walking on the moors in England when Damon and Kadar Karlssen find her. Even though they are Ghosts her natural enemy she decides to join them for the last leg of the walk after all they may be the enemy but they did stop her from falling into a bog hole so it might be safer to join them than to carry on alone.

The trio are in a bar sharing a few drinks after their walk when Misty has an instinctual feeling that something is terribly wrong back in Tasmania. Damon and Kadar take her out of the bar and explain that her family has been attacked by Ghosts.  While Misty knows the guys weren’t in on the attack she still excuses herself.

Little does the trio know that they have attracted the attention of the Baekken Vampires. The Vampires consider Misty vermin and plan to kill her slowly and painfully but first they want to know why Damon and Kadar are associating with her. Damon tells them it’s because Misty is close to finding out about the curse as genetics are her field. He doesn’t tell the Vampires that he believes that with Misty’s help Kadar and Damon will make a breakthrough to a full cure for both the were devils and the ghosts.

The plot is again fast paced and we get taken from England to Tasmania and back to England before Ms Sinna is done with us. A lot of those unresolved issues in the three prior books are finally cleared up. Misty, Damon and Kadar are the final hope of the two races uniting but it’s going to take everything they have and they are all going to learn how to trust each other and their attraction to each other. I don’t want to give any spoilers here as I know those who follow this series would really NOT appreciate me spoiling it for them

I have followed this series from the beginning and was sad to know that this was the final book as I started reading I hoped that the final installment was the best and Ms Sinna did not disappoint while I’m sad to say goodbye to the Were Devils and their enemies the Ghosts I was really happy with the way everything was resolved and who knows maybe just maybe Ms Sinna will take pity on us and revisit Tasmania in the future

Jewel has just found out that in order to gain an army and a safe port to conduct his illegal business, her father has traded her away to a mutant prince who wishes to impregnate her. He believes that any children she gives him will be free of his mutant disease since her DNA is 100% human, without a single mutation. Jewel is  NOT onboard with her Father’s scheme, and when pleading with her older brother fails, she runs.

Rion is needs the bounty that Prince Bayless has placed on Jewel’s head for his Clan. He assures Prince Bayless that he will deliver Jewel. Trouble is, Rion never counted on her being his mate, the one person in the galaxy that he will protect, no matter the cost.

When Jewel runs, she knows she has to get as far away as possible to escape her father and the prince. She is also smart enough to know there will be a bounty on her head for her return. Her first encounter with the bounty hunter, she fights her way out with the help of a mystery man. Little does she know that the reason he helped her is so that he can claim the bounty for himself.

When Rion captures her, she vows that she will escape him. She figures since she finds him attractive she might as well seduce him; after all, she can escape as soon as they land. When Jewel sets her plan to seduce him in motion, Rion is wary. He asks her if she is experienced, as he knows a woman of worth could possibly become a mate. He knows the chances of becoming mated are even higher if that woman of worth is also a virgin.

When both Rion and Jewel are taken captive and fighting for their lives and freedom, they get help from Rion’s brothers. They escape, but there can be no turning back now Jewel isn’t the only one with a price of her head Rion and his three brothers are also fugitives.

Again, Ms Monroe takes us along on a fast paced adventure. The story flowed, the chemistry between Rion and Jewel was believable, and when Makis offered to be her, Guardian Jewel realized she had feelings for both Rion and Makis. This was yet another story that sent me running to the author’s website looking to see if we can expect another book. The good news is we can expect the other brothers to get their own books, which I’ll be looking forward to. While the book ends as an HEA, I felt there were a few unresolved issues. I’m assuming they will be covered in the upcoming books. If you haven’t read Ms Monroe already, check her out. For those of you that are already devoted fans, you’ll not be disappointed. Well worth the read!

Susie decides going up another size in clothing is for the birds so she joins a gym and hires a personal trainer to help her lose some weight. What she doesn’t know is the gym is owned by a family of bear shifters and that not one, but two, of the owners are about to claim her as their mate.

Brian Bear knows the instant he sees Suzie that she is his mate and even though she’s not his usual type he plans to claim her. After Brian has a major case of foot in mouth disease, Blake Bear stops Suzie from fleeing the club.  He’s surprised she’s his mate, but he’s shocked to find out she’s also his brother Brian’s mate. The brothers decide they have no option but to learn to play nice and share, but first they have to convince Suzie that they are the right men– errr bears– for her.I was looking for as quick read and came across this book as soon as I read the excerpt I knew I had to have it.

Poor Suzie was not having a good day her so called mate had just told her she wasn’t his usual type (real smooth Brian). She was being chased by a teenage grizzly bear shifter who had a crush on Brian and as if that wasn’t bad enough, just as she was about to escape, Blake snatches her up and claims she’s his mate too. All I can say is, I loved this book. the plot was fast paced but not rushed. The brothers balanced each other and the chemistry was great. I loved how two very big men are trying to hide in a club so they can keep an eye on their mate without their mate knowing they have followed her. I’ve never read Ms Gower before but after reading Theirs I googled her looking for her back list. She only has 1 other release, but good news–she has a new release coming in March, and yes, I’ll be awaiting it. If you’re looking for a new author I’d recommend checking out Ms Gower.

When we start reading Edge of Darkness Sasha Wylde is running for her life because she is a white wolf it is difficult to camouflage herself in the forest at night as white does tend to stick out. As if that’s not bad enough we soon discover she’s running from her own pack they plan to kill her. Sasha believes if she can make it to town she might be able to convince her enemies to give her protection just for a day or two till she can escape the area for good.

Master vampires Matthew and Curry are shocked when a werewolf crashes through the doors of their club. When Sasha begs them for sanctuary they are torn between their mistrust of all shifters and the instant attraction both brothers feel towards her. The brothers offer Sasha protection but in exchange she must submit to them and become their sex slave for three days.

This story had all my favorite components Weres, Vampires and ménage so I was excited to read it. I loved the chemistry between the brothers and Sasha. I loved the storyline it flowed easily was fast paced didn’t have any of those annoying flat spots. Ms Lyons took her time and didn’t rush the ending so kudos it was a great read and it was deserving of a 5/5 but editing let it down.

I would of happily rated this book higher but there were spots were the editing really let this book down. Matthew switched names to Michael for a sentence I could of let that slide but when it is combined with a scene that had me back tracking to read the same few pages over and over to see if I missed something it became an issue. Matthew became the rubberman or Casper the ghost maybe  I’m still trying to figure out how he turned on a faucet ensured the water was the correct temperature all while he was still in the bedroom. He then carries Sasha to the bathroom so she can shower hmmmm. I’m sorry I loved this book I really did but content errors drive me crazy.

Rena Lancaster is intelligent, successful, career driven and sophisticated with an insatiable sex drive. Grant Tyler is her equal in every way and should be perfect together. After his marriage ended badly due to his domineering tactics and intense emotional and sexual desires he forced himself to become reserved, never allowing himself to lose control in or out of the bedroom. Rena finds their sex life amazing, but lacking a key element that Karl Kristiansen brings- a fiery unquenchable passion that is anything, but controlled. When Grant pushes Rena for a permanent commitment she is not sure if she is willing to live without what Karl brings to the bedroom.

Karl proposes a plan to help Rena chose between the men, one weekend of no holds bar sex with both men, together. They burn up the bed and each other with each man driving Rena to highest sexual limits she never knew existed. But now that she has had a taste of what life with both men could be like, is she really willing to give it up?

The story premise sounded good and I usually enjoy Jasmine Haynes’ books. However, this was more about the sex than about the story line and good solid characters. I couldn’t find myself relating to any of the characters. Grant Tyler is reserved due to going through a difficult divorce that was caused by his explosive emotions and desires. There wasn’t much depth in Grant’s character nor was there really any development in Karl’s character. He was a construction worker who liked kinky sex and Rena. I would have liked to know more about him and how all three characters personalities brought the passion expressed very well in the bedroom sections. That was the gist of what I took from the book. The book did have very graphic and explicit love scenes that were really hot and written well. I missed the connection from this book. The dynamics of the characters had a great plot set-up, but missed the mark on emotion. However, did hit the nail on the head with the ménage parts for sure. If you want a quick scorching read this is a good book, but if you are looking for solid characters and story line this would not leave you fulfilled.

Twilight Amery recently widowed and about to become homeless decides to hop on a freight train for Harlem to realize her dream of being a singer. After dodging the Pinkerton guards she finds herself in a car full of rice. Here she meets Daniel and Hector and her adventure truly begins. A body is found on the train when it stops in New Orleans so the trio takes flight and after pooling their money they actually pay for train tickets to Atlanta.

While staying in a whorehouse the trio takes on new names and provides entertainment to the clients. Twilight sings a few sets, Daniel dances and Hector just seems to hang out causing as much friction as possible between Daniel and Twilight. It’s while here that an old enemy of Daniels tracks them down and gives them an offer they can’t really refuse but the outcome sets the trio back on the run.

They finally arrive in Harlem and everything seems to going well when Daniel’s enemies once more find them and after a harrowing few nights our trio is forced on the run again.

I had so much trouble reading this book it was disjointed in places and rambled on like a broken record in others. The characters were really flat in my opinion and lacked any real depth. Daniel wants Twilight to spend time with Hector as Hector is attention driven and Daniel needs some space. He doesn’t, however, want to share Hector with her. Hector wants them both and poor Twilight just needs love but doesn’t want to come between the couple. Sad part was there was no real chemistry between any of the characters and unless Ms Green told us what they were feeling we didn’t have a clue. The one scene that could actually be called a ménage–if you use the term loosely– was lame and more voyeurism than ménage. As a ménage lover I was disappointed. Unfortunately, too many publishers add the term ‘menage’ to a book to increase sales, when the actual scene/scenes are not true ménages.

On a positive note, this book is a great sleep aid! What is truly disappointing is that I’m usually a fan of Ms. Green’s books!

Liana Everton knows herself to be a cowardly, but good, witch. So when she finds herself arguing for the chance to be the one to travel to the demon realm and retrieve the Book of Shadows, it’s definitely out of character. But the book is both a threat, and a promise of power, that the witches can’t afford to leave in the hands of evil. As one of the most powerful witches in her coven, Liana has no choice but to step forward to save the day. With a set hard-bodied werewolves, who make her heart race and her body flame, as baggage.

Jarod is the “silent and broody type” but thoughtful, while his twin brother Ronan is more the outgoing type. Their mission is to defeat evil and show a certain curvy witch that there’s no need to choose between them, she’s THEIR mate. Rule of Three is written from the Liana’s point-of-view but in third-person narrative, but without the descriptions and deciphering of the hero(es) that a heroine necessary when a book is all from one view. The result of this is that I never really felt that I understood the twins. I was missing two large pieces of the puzzle because, unfortunately, the heroes’ actions, motivations, feelings and personality were not brought to life.

The basis of the story – hot, dominant werewolves, good witches protecting the world, evil witches with demons accomplices, destined mates and threesomes – made for an okay, but not particularly unique, reading experience. It was fairly interesting in the beginning but it flowed in fits and starts – almost like four separate sections that didn’t quite blend. There is some decent world-building, mission and action, and then, just as the reader is getting into it, the storyline abruptly switches to romance and sex, followed by another section of mission and action, only to be resolved quickly and switch back to focus on the mating. When in the “actionor “mating” sections, there wasn’t a good integration of the other elements and I didn’t see development of the relationship and sexual attraction other than a few lines thrown in “telling” the reader, instead of letting us experience it.

If you love a good ménage (with twin werewolves, no less!) then you’ll find Rule of Three a moderately sexy read. I have to say, I enjoyed the author’s physical descriptions of the twins, which included their “chocolate eyes” and “dark hair gelled within an inch of it’s life.” I also thought Liana’s character was unusually self aware but not self-depreciating. She acknowledges and accepts her shortcomings, as well as understands and utilizes her strengths.

Zoe’s Gift is the fourth book in the Fallon’s Mates series and while they can all be read as stand alone books the reader will benefit from reading them in order.
The planet Belizair is home to the Amato and the Vesti races who don’t always get along and don’t share the same ideals. The Amato are freer sexually than their Vesti cousins. For the Vesti a relationship has always consisted of one male and one female the Amato however feel if it feels right it doesn’t matter whether it’s same sex or multiple partners. So when the planet is infected with a virus that basically erodes any chance of conceiving children unless in a triad consisting of one Vesti, one Amato and one human with Fallon DNA, the Vesti have to battle their possessive natures and learn to share.
In Zoe’s Gift we are introduced to Iden who is Amato and Miciah who is Vesti. Iden is openly bisexual whereas Miciah has been fighting his attraction to Iden for years as it’s against the Vesti code, these pair are the closest match to the human Zoe so they team up to go and claim their mate together both males have preconceived notions of how their relationship will work out once they claim Zoe as their mate.
Zoe has problems of her own she has the gift of empathy trouble is it seems to focus of feelings of extreme grief and depression as a result to save herself  from becoming bogged down by her gift she constantly moves around. She has dreamt about both Iden and Miciah for a week so when they arrive in her life she welcomes them both and accepts their offer to become their mate.
Once back on Belizair the men find that sometimes you have to bend a little for the good of your mates and hurt feelings have to be put aside, when Zoe confesses to breaking rules that could lead to her being banished the trio find themselves determined to break with tradition and sacrifice everything if need be to stay together.
I loved the plot, totally loved the characters, enjoyed the inner turmoil that Miciah, Iden and Zoe went through Ms Strong again wrote an awesome story that kept up the pace and interest so the reader was sucked in from page one. However as much as I loved all that I was sorely disappointed in a few areas as far as editing went. There is one scene quite early in the book that is just impossible and the fact that it is just one word that causes this makes me wonder if the editor got lazy and didn’t read it and Ms Strong thinks her Editor has powers outside of a normal human and catches every mistake. This error was glaring I could forgive the occasional missing word but this error is the reason that I can’t give this book 5 Lyres and a recommended read as I would have if this error hadn’t stopped me cold. I seriously hope someone does a quick proof read before taking the book to print.

Rather than make a difficult choice Shelby Daniels left home for culinary school and never came back. Now her Uncle has passed away leaving her with a strange shared inheritance. Shelby is back and has to face Gabriel Mackenzie and Justin Walters the two men she never stopped loving and still can’t choose between.

Gabriel and Justin have one last chance to convince Shelby to stay. Half the battle was getting her to come home, her Uncle’s will has not only brought Shelby home it’s given them the opportunity to put their plan into action.

Ms James offers the reader a beautifully written contemporary romance with a great storyline. The Characters were very appealing and Shelby’s torn between two lovers dilemma wasn’t over done. I found Three for All to be a quieter, gentler more understated ménage story. This would be an ideal first ménage book for readers that want to read a ménage book but don’t feel ready for the full on intense ménages that are out there. A great read that zipped along at a steady pace my only complaint would be that it ended too soon. I’ll be adding Ms James to my list of must keep an eye out for authors as I really enjoyed reading this one.
